I have just bought a used KDX200F. The stock rear guard support/sub frame appears to be a bit 'chunky'. Does this support have any bad points? Does it transfer force through the frame in a crash, warping the frame? Are there any appreciable benefits from cutting the support back and replacing it with an alloy or plastic support? Am I better off leaving things as they are or are mods recommended? I was wondering if anyone had any ideas/advice.
