I noticed a fairly large flat spot on my rear rim today while cleaning, its only flat on the chain side, my bike rides smooth without any shakes at any speed, should this flat spot be hammered back or just left alone....the rims are excel if that makes a difference....?

thanx

It's hard to bend them back. Riding with bent rims has become a way of life for me. Unless it's the front one and real bad, it's not noticeable and I leave it alone. This winter I'm going to replace them though. Check out http://www.rimsplus.net, they're good to work with and have good prices.
