Rear Sprocket Question

I'm running stock 13/47 sprockets on my 94 kdx 200 right now. 1st gear is a little too high for tight single track stuff and 3rd gear it runs out of steam for any steep hill climbing. I tried running a 12/47 but it was too low geared. I'm wondering if I tried a 13/48 combo if it would make a noticeable difference? Or should go one more tooth and go a 13/49 combo?

Well I went with a 13/49. Oh yeah! This is the ticket for where I ride. 1st gear is a bit lower and now 3rd is way more useful.
