What is the best tool to remove the Fly wheel on KDX 200 - I need to remove the Nut but can not hold the flywheel

with out spending $50.00

What Happen is the Bike was running great-He went to start it and it back fired and now it has no Spark

I have the Nut off the Flywheel and now I have to Pull the Fly wheel but I don't have the Flywheel puller

Flywheel pullers are cheap. There's one that fits almost every two stroke bike out there (125's, 250's, the KDX, and many more). I think I paid a little over $10 to have the dealer order me one through Parts Unlimited.

definately get the puller. I got one for my kdx 200 and it fits almost every bike I have ever tried it on except for an old xt500

re: 'What is the best tool to remove the Fly wheel'

The nut: pneumatic assist (read 'air', 'impact wrench')

The flywheel: Buy an $11 puller, as suggested.

Tip: Use the puller correctly. If you don't know how it works, ask. You can 'assume' some things that can end up costing you lots of $$.

Tip2: Ensure the key is in place after you put the flywheel back on. It easily slips out of place. That will be bad.

I made one for my '88 kdx. The ones for my bike were expensive since it is old. I used an arc welder and some scrap steel laying around. I had to buy bolts though.
