I have got one stubborn SOUTHWICK tire. I'm trying to remove this tire from the back wheel and I cannot for the life of me break the bead on one side. The other side, I finally broke and pulled the lip over the wheel and pulled out the tube but the other side will not break for anything! I've been using knee's and feet to try to break it. Are there any good ideas out there on how to break this sucker? THANKS! :worship:
I GOT IT! Damn thing. I used a long 2x4 as a lever and a short piece of 2x4 at the tire. I put one end of the long 2x4 under a car and just pressed it out. EASY!
I've never had any trouble with beads like this one. Usually, I can just stand on the lip of the tire and the bead pops right off. Not this one! :bang:
