I used to ride a '74 cb 175 in the woods. Thought it was a hillclimber, though.
Lets see, I can screw up a perfectly good silencer (stock) just to make it louder or buy an aftermarket one and have to screw with it repacking and stuff or leave well enough alone.
Most of my riding buddies spent good money on pipes. I still smoke 'em!
Freestyle ought to sell a woods rider his bike and buy something else.
Or just keep riding but keep in mind what it is best for!
What I'd be afraid of happening is that it would become a lousy trail bike and never really good on the motocross track.

hey SMB...that aint my spark arrestor!!! lol...im none of you people...I live in Mass I gots the 03, and I was wandeirng if i could do this mod. instead of buying the FMF or PC. this will be used fo rMotocross.

I know that isn't your SA, but another member mentioned the mod for the older style and I figured I'd just borrow your thread for a little while :laugh:

i know you can use your kdx for anything you want but why dont you just sell your 200 and get a kx? you wont have to spend so much time and $$ just to get a bike that still isnt good for mx. the kdx is best for trails and can be taken to a track for fun but if your serious about motocross then u should just get a mx bike. you could still get a pretty good price since ur bike is a 03. why did u buy the kdx in the first place, if u just wanted to race it and to try to turn it into soemthing it cant be?

I got the KDX cause it had all of the features of a KX, but was cheaper.

I work at a Kawi shop the only feature a KDX has that a KX has is they're both GREEN

so...suspeneiobn trvel is about the same...its a 2 stroke..adjustable suspension..all that stuff

I'm looking at a green 3M haute densite 1.44MB. I could take that to to the track......it being green and all.

I packed my 99 KDX's silencer once with mud. Then I re-packed it with air. :flame:
Listen to what these guys are telling you. Instead of spending your $$ on masking the identity of your bike so you don't look un-cool at the track :silly: , spend some time riding. It's more productive.

Funny how your spelling suddenly got better on the last few responses. I wondered how you "mis spelled" some words on earlier threads. I looked, the keys on the board are not even close to each other. I also wondered how you could be on the internet all day at "school" ????
I like the idea of you having fun with these guys on here with your "colorful" questions and bad spelling. You had me fooled. I now believe you are a probably between 35 and 40 or so, and have been riding since you were a kid.

ahahaha....nope..im 14 and yes im racing moto X this year. Middleboro, ma NCSC and Mabey the NESC series
