Hey I am going to be doing a top end rebuild on my ktm 200 xc w 2007 soon. I Was wondering if most guys here just use OEM parts for the rebuild or go after market? this is going to be my first rebuild so just want some info. I am mechanically inclined and enjoy working on my bike. Any info on this stuff would be great.

A haven't owned a KTM or any European MX bikes in the past. It's been my experience from talking to people that did that the parts are more expensive than the Japanese bikes.

If that's the case consider a Wiseco piston, pin, bearing, and rings set. Wiseco stuff works well and is quite a bit less than OEM every time I've priced them.
