Riding near Oxnard/Ventura

I will be moving to Oxnard, Ca (next to Ventura) this summer and need urgent orientation on places to ride (both trails and mx tracks).

I am coming from Lima, Peru so all the red/green sticker issue is completely new to me. Will I need one of those? everywhere?. I am planning to get a new '02 CR 250.

You should try Balinger Cyn. It is off of the Hwy 33 near New Cyuama. Not for the bigginer or faint of heart, though. Lots of knife edge ridges and bar scraping canyons. I love the place!!

I used to live in Santa Barbara and can pretty much guarantee you won't be disappointed in the riding areas. Check here for riding areas in all of CA.
