I removed the rear tire on my kdx as part of installing new spokes. The rim lock came out in 2 pieces: the metal part with the stud and a rubber protective cover. Are they supposed to be one piece? If so, will epoxy hold the pieces together? I've got 24 hours before putting the tire back on.

You can get a new one for around $13. Or, try some shoe goo. Good luck, YZ165

The 24 hours comes from the fact I'd like put my new-to-me kdx back together tomorrow night and any epoxy would have at least a day to dry. I drilled the rim and laced the spokes today. I could have trued the rear wheel tonight except I ended up watching a couple of B-movies on Sci-Fi channel. Tomorrow, I'll true the rim and reinstall everything. Maybe I can actually go riding Tuesday evening. Weather and having to replace spokes have kept me from riding for the last 2-3 weeks.
