LT, it took me a couple of days to reply to this thread. Ever time I would come here the tears would flow. My deepest sympathies.

I've been loving my dog all I can and giving him special treats. They really are part of the family.

I thought it was only me.... I had to close the thread before I started crying at work.

LT, I'm truly sorry that you and your family had to go thru this ordeal. I don't think a dog could have hoped for a better life than with you and your family.

It's very sad. I hate losing animals. They become your best friends and you lose a part of yourself when they die. We are very close to loosing one of our dogs. We aren't sure how much longer she will hold out. Knowing her, it may be months or even longer. It may come down to the question of whether she is suffering too much or not. I feel for ya man, it's hard, and almost as hard to even think about them not being there to greet you at the door.
