RM250 Case Cover

Does anyone know if the stock 94 RM250 ignition side case cover was made of magnesium? I'm having trouble fitting the cover over a Steahley flywheel weight (with the 1/4" spacer). I'm not sure if the cover I have is an aftermarket cover, which could be causing the problem. The weight is hitting the indent that would be by the shifter. If anyone would have a pic of the stock cover that would really help me out. Thanks.

My 03 is magnesium........no pic of a 94 though. Suzy's flywheel (on my 03) is not CENTERED to the ign cover, causing a clearence problem when adding weight. I had a machineist friend make me an aluminum shim about 1/2 inch thick (for my 12oz weight)....cost $75. Then bought a steel shifter that could be bent outward for clearance.
