Rod Kits, ims, p-x, h.r.?

Any pro's or con's to different rod kits. I've had good luck and bad luck with most all kits (pro-x, ims, hot rod...) just wondered what others had to say? saw the "lost a rod" post and this topic was looking like a discussion in the making.

I have the Hot Rod in my 89KX250 along with Eric's 1mm overbore and
the bike runs real good, no problem's at all. The Wiseco semed to be very
good quality.
