I did a search on 'power now'.
Got 1000 results cause 'power' and 'now' were seen seperate.
I used the AND & OR function but got the same results.

Can someone please tell me where do I err.

At the bottom of the search page are some boxes you can tick to help limit the search - i.e. don't search threads, just search titles. This limits it to 56 topics in this forum.
The other forum to search is the products review one - 15 topics (no, not all are relevant).

Yeah, you may miss out some of the relevant threads with this method, but 56 topics is easier to skim through than 1000 ;) It's only with nicknames that you can do an exact search :(

I've not had any luck using boolean expressions to limit searches in the past...or now either.

The 'AND' and 'OR' seem to matter not a whit.

But then, neither does <"power now"> return hits of the phrase.

I'd say that basically the search function is not working. That's not real news, is it?

Actually, there have been times I've used it successfully....maybe it's hit and miss.
