Has anyone done any mods to the fork to improve it for rocks and roots?
On sharp rocks or roots on a fast section ,the fork deflects off the objects instead of absorbing the impact.
The terrain i ride in are mud and rocks
My weight is 210. I have .44 springs in the fork and pds 3.
Oil level is 150mm from the top.
Any input appreciated.

Can any of you suspension wizards point me in the right direction?

Take out two .10x24s and one.10x 14 then if you have them make up the difference with some .10 x12/ . 10 x 11sunder that .10x 18( Base valve)Then raise the oil level a bit if it bottoms. i have this moly spray that I spray on new clean fork seals that helps combat stichtion at the seals Then I use oil on them . if you assemble the triple bushing forks without oiling the bushings good then they will drag a bit when first used I also like to stagger the ends of the bushings when Installed. Thers been talk of grooving the upper bushing (outer) to help let oil in.

I guess i came across wrong but I meant four 24s/ two 22s/20/18/12/11/10then build the end back up with the 14/16 then the 18 you took out or leave them out if no space. Sometimes it can be good to have a reverse taper at the end to sort of cushion the real wide shims as it can help keep them from breaking esp. with a thin light stack . Sort of like a hourglass shape. I just try not to ever go back to the original size at the top for possible restriction at the bottom Espescially at the midvalve but thats a whole different story .Sometimes theres a flat washer there or a base plate. Good Luck. Hope I made sense cause sometimes I dont!?Where Im at in Jersey theres alot of rocks and roots and long bombed out sandy whoop sections that need catering to also. How bout Sweden?
