Showa rear shock off a 2000 cr

problem: seal weeping shock fluid

i want to replace the seal.

i have a factory manual and it goes thru several incantations for the shock disassembly

1. i took the spring off
2. i let pressure out of resivoir
3. i took compression adjuster off and drained fluid.

after removing the shaft from the body, which end of the shaft do i get at the seal?

do i have to take the bladder and reassemble the bladder assm. before i can get a true bleed? in other words, can i leave the bladder as is prior to shaft removal or do i need to take it apart too (so i can get a proper bleed/oil fill)?

thanks in advance for the replies
