Can anyone give any info on the sidewinders enduro this weekend? I just got the info sheet off the tscec website and saw quite a bit of 12mph avg. I would expect a very tight race from this and was hoping someone could let me no what kind of terrain to expext. I rode the high plains region last year and it was pretty open (except for oklahoma city). Thanks for any help. Mike.

Sidewinders was my first finsh last year following two DNF's ( one of them hurt!) I loved that race last year. With a little rain the traction is perfect. Some areas are a little tight, others you can open it up.

After the gas stop last year I got behind a guy on a TTR-225 and could not pass him. This guy really took me to school. I know I'm a "C" rider but damn!
Turned out he was a really good "A" rider.

Hey KleeneX, you were on my row at the Oklahoma City run last year. I was on the 520. Sidewinders is definitely a tree run, but actually not as tight as some. Big sand whoops through the trees in a lot of sections. With traction it is cool, but dry it can get ugly.

Sidewinders is pretty much flat land. It is kinda scenic in some spots...a few barns and ponds, here and there. Expect lots of sand whoops.

If anyone is interested, I pre-entered a friend of mine, but he can't make the race. So if someone can fill his spot let me know. Somewhere on row 11 thru 14.;)

Email me your name or the guys name thats not comming so we know what row to put him on. (We will be there around noon saturday). Thanks for the info. [email protected]
