I'm looking at getting a skid plate for my 95 kdx and was wondering what my fellow kdxer's input was on the different brands out there.

How is the fit, and the protection of the different brands?

And what one do you like the best?

Your input is much appreciated.:D

Baja Designs make a good looking/ sturdy skid plate for the KDX. The mounting hardware is good quality stuff and fits well.

I've got a Moose Skidplate on two of the bikes.

Fits well, protects well, and reasonably priced.

I have the works connection skid plate which I think might be the same as the Moose ?

It's O.K. fit and finish are fine, mounting hardware is reasonable. But it's a skid plate ONLY, it offers NO side protection at all, which was much to my dismay when it arrived.

They do provide the foam to stick in to keep the mud out from underneath. It's a $@#@ to get in there after installation so de it before hand.
