I've been racing the local AX series, and I banged bars alittle with another ridder who races both the classes I do. Well ever since that they have been doing bad block passes on me. The first time I let it slide cause it was during a race big deal thats racing. Then at the next round they did it again! then again at the next race! just last night when I was out practicing on the ax track the next race is at they tried it again! this is four times in a row now each time the same deal. They dive inside me in a turn and I see them out of corner of my eye and they are aiming for my front wheel front half portion of my bike. I really don't mind to much in a race. But it really pissed me off last night cause it was just practice. Dude doesn't need to be so agressive not even the pro's were doing anything like that. If it happens again I don't think I'll be as nice I might take them out cause the way they try to pass me could become a bad t-bone. You guys think i'm just being parinoid or what? I'm starting to feel like they are trying to take me out for no real reason.

Maybe they're playing head-games. Show them not to try and mess you up. Whatever you do, don't let them pass you when they try that crap.

A good way to figure out if he's really trying to take you out is going to talk to him in the pits. Just go up and start BS'ing about nothing, be as friendly as you can be. If responds to you in any negative way then yes he's probably gunning for you. Just smile and walk away then. You don't want or need a confrontation.

I've been in a similar situation before.. There was a new guy at our track, on a YZ125. No numbers, just lots of stickers and baggy pants. He rode the beginner practice, and was giving my friend's daughter a hard time on her TTR125L. He would cut her off, ride way closer than she was comfortable with (on purpose) and he wiped her out once, then stopped and roosted her.

I went out and stuffed him big time in the first corner I saw him in, took his front wheel out and knocked him over the berm. That was that.

He kept doing the same antics later in the day, so I went out again but he'd get a glimpse of me coming so he'd stop on the side of the track.

I was just giving him a taste of his own medicine, he didn't like it much. He didn't seem to learn anything from it though.

Haven't seen him there since then. I felt a little bad about it after, but I figure he deserved it.

Don't let him do it. I had the same problem with a guy when I was practicing and he keep hitting me and I got sick of it and knocked him off of a berm, and he didn't come near me anymore.

Just be sure not to make it look intentional when the flagers are looking or if they have refs because I have seen people kicked out of races at SIR for defending them selves.;)
