Spark Arrestor

I HAVE A PROBLEM. HAVE PC SILENCER BUT I RIDE IN AREAS THAT NEED A SPARK ARESTER BUT I LIKE THE SOUND OF THE AFTERMARKET ONE. IS THERE ANYTHING I CAN DO TO MAKE THE ONE I HAVE NON SPARK. OR ANY IDEAS I WILL TAKE INTO CONSIDERATION:think :scream: :confused:

Maybe...

you can put a piece of screen through the silencer somewhere to deflect "sparks" from getting out the pipe. I think that is all a spark arrestor does is not allow a clear path for sparks the leave the exhaust. Spooge may build up from time to time though. When we do tech inspections here in MI we run a stick through the pipe to make sure we hit something and if we do we pass it.
