squeaking clutch

What do you think... once in a while when I let out the clutch after a bit of abuse, it'll start to squeak a tad. I'll be taking it apart, what should I look for. Thanks.

A mouse?



or maybe glazed fibre plates, bent steels, grooved basket & maybe a suspect bearing it is riding on.

Yep.

Squeaking is what clutches do (well, one thing) in the way of complaint when they need fixin'.

Keep in mind the late model XR250R plates if you're replacing 'em. Much more fiber (fibre for some..;) ) than the oem plates. Available from FRP.

Obviously any dealer selling honda parts or resale applications FOR the XR.
