I didn't really take a bunch of pics (as I didn't plan to do this), but here is my experience installing a SRC Skidplate on my 03 CR250.

http://www.srcinc.net/cr-250.htm (Scroll down)

The plate is very stout looking with welded seams where they contour the plate up to protect the engine as well. The plate also has ventilation holes which have the added bonus of making it lighter. The plate and brackets are aluminum with 4 allen buttonhead bolts for fastening.

It has 2 brackets that go over the frame rails with nuts welded in for the plate to bolt to. The front bracket which is shaped like an "M" goes over each frame rail with the bolts in the middle. Or at least, that's the idea. On my bike, the "M" wasn't wide enough to go over both sides. Not too hard to fix, I flattened both sides out, and widened it up so it would fit. Hopefully, it didn't stress the aluminum too much, and it won't break.

The rear bracket fits well, no complaints.

Here's a pic of it on my bike:

I really liked how it fit close to the frame and followed the countours well. It was a much needed addition, my frame already has a bunch of dings in it!

Overall I'm happy with the product. It is well built and looks great. I'll e-mail them about the bracket. The only other thing I could wish for would be a hole for the oil drain plug, but I'd guess it was left off to make the plate as strong and protective as possible.

I just realized that the link I posted doesn't work, and I need to get off my ass to pay and get editing privelages apparently so I can't fix it. ;)
