How well does the SST Turbine Spark Arrestor from FMF work on the 250 E/XC's? I would really like to take that honky stock one off and don't know what to put on, Thanks guys!!!!

Per the FMF website, there is no such thing as an FMF Turbine Core SST...

"Turbine Core II Spark Arrestor™ The ultimate choice when comes to remaining legal and not adversely affecting power. "

As far as the SST-labeled product they do make, it does not sound like it applies to a woods bike like your EXC.

" SST Pipe: 2001 Targeted towards outdoor moto and higher speeds, the FMF SST pretty much mirrors the stock power in only one area- roll-on. Then all hell breaks loose as the SST enhances the mid range and bolsters the peak performance on the KTM 250."

FWIW,

From what I've heard (AKA what I've read from Rich's postings), it sounds like the SST is snake oil. Honestly I couldn't tell you exactly why, but maybe you understand kinetic physics better than I do. I would trust Rich over the FMF website anyday though. But it still might be a good pipe, just wouldn't buy it based on marketing BS.
