Finally bought a muffler plug for washing my bike. Of course I completely forgot about it when I started bike yesterday to go wash it. I was wondering why it took six kicks to start it (normally two when cold) was weak on power and sounded weird. About halfway to the wash (three-block ride), the plug finally blew out and bike ran fine.
Never done this before and wondering what damage, if any, can this cause??
(I've decided not to use the plug in the garage anymore, just at the car wash)

I have about 6 of those things laying on the hillside in front of my house. If your exhaust system is sealed properly, it will shoot them about 30 feet. :yikes:

Attach a brightly colored ribbon about two foot long to your plug to remind you to take it out.
