Well I got a bad stator coil and I hit a few web sites and it's looking like $280- $320, I haven't checked my local dealer yet. I just wondering if anyone knows if you can just get the ignition charge coil instead of buying the whole damn stator plate. The coil is removable and i don't ever remember replacing the whole stator on anything I have worked on, but it seems like thats the only way they sell them. I see there is a few of them on ebay for cheap but I hate to put some used 20 year old crap on my bike that I will have to deal with again in a year or two. My bike is a 87 kdx 200 any help would be great. It's to bad it's not a 89 or newer, them are half the price.
