Steel City, Was it really that Loud?

Does anyone still have a headache from the massive wall of announcers speakers that they had set up this year. Any other year they have the small cone speakers on the phone poles that no one can hear. This year, almost half the crowd on the announcers side was holding thier ears becuse the announcers and the music were so loud people could bearly breathe.

All in all, was a good day of racing even with the rain that we received.

I wasnt on the side those crappy speakers were directed. I was below those cone speakers. They used both setups and the huge speakers hung by the crane were off about a second or two from the cone ones making a very bad echo effect. That sucked more than the loudness.

Only thing in the racing that sucked was lack clearing some jumps. Other than that it was good racing!
