Steerig Dampener issues

I am working on putting a scotts dampener, and Renthals on the bike using the stock triple clamp. I have ordered all of the parts from BRP, and they are looking into the issue, but thought that I'd post it here for all to look at and think about. Basically, the Tower Pin that clamps to the headstock doesnt align with the hole in the dampener arm. it appears to be off by about 10mm.

Looks like they sent the wrong lower arm for your application.

Have you tried turning your bar clamps around for a bigger offset.

I know that this reply is a bit late:

The problem is that you have ordered the mounting kit. The kit that you ordered is for the handlebars in the forward position. (handlebar clamps are turned around ) The standard handlebar position for a KDX is with the handlebars in the back position. I made the exact same mistake.
