Hello, I was out riding yesterday; near the end of it, my throttle all of a sudden locks up into full open position...I tried to twist it back to close it up. I couldn't the bike revved to the moon so I had to kill it. My buddy and I opened the top of the carburetor to see what the deal was; we were assessing the spring and cable when we heard a small click and release. We hooked the throttle cable back up to the twist assembly and all of a sudden I have throttle control again. Arriving back at the house, we pull the carburetor off and notice that there are small scratches or abrasions on the throttle valve and needle jet, could this be the culprit, and if so...is there a way I can remedy the situation without spending a ton of money?
