Street Legal 2-stroke?

My state of Alabama has gone Authoritarian on me at the DMV, and they won't register ANY bike that didn't come from the manufacturer as street legal. The Baja kit won't do the trick here in 'Bama.

I need an old 2-Stroke, preferably 250cc, with kickstart, that came from the factory with the bare-necessaries for street, blinker, light, etc.. I just need to get to my riding fields, and make an occassional short road trip.

The lighter, the better, and durable enough for rocks, rutted tracks, jumps. Old is okay, as long as I can find one somewhere.

Any suggestions?

WHat about buying one out of state that is already legal - comes with a "street legal title". Would this go any where?
