I need to reduce the oil level on my fork (Kayaba UD 46).
I've tried to suck it out with a syringe by means of a little plastic pipe ( dia. 80 mils) threaded in the bleed hole, but I'm not able to reach the oil inside the fork.

Anyone have a solution to do the work without disassemble the fork from the triple clamps?

...and avoiding to put the bike upside down ! :yikes:

I've ended to dismantling the fork so now I can answer to myself.

It wasn't possible to suck oil from the bleed holes, because of the bumpers installed under the caps.
...and it wasn't possible to suck oil simply removing the caps with the fork installed, because with the rods completely extended the oil level is too low.

The only way to decrease the oil level is to remove the fork from the triple clamps, open the caps and tilt the fork until the oil pours from the outer tube.
