I have this friend who has a 125 bike. His rear wheel seems a little wobbley... sorry for spelling... but anyways could this be from spokes being adjusted wrong??? or does he just need a new rim?? And can someone tell me how do you tighten your spokes on a bike?? is there a certain method to doing this so you don't mess up the rim???? any good tips would be appreciated... Thanks in advance!!!

Based on your description, we cannot tell whether it needs trued or replaced.

If you don't know what you're doing, you should take it to someone and have it trued.

Try tightening up the spokes a little at a time(1/4 turn)until they are all snug.If I remember correctly, they should be tightened down to 2.2 ft.lbs.If that doesn't help then put in new wheel bearings and if the wheel bearings don't help then you need the rim trued.
