I got hold of an old Suzuki water cooled TS200, which have been bored to take a 250 (70mm) piston. I experience a problem in selecting Neutral when engine is not running and when eventually finding it, the bike engage a itself into gear again. It is as if the crank turns about 180 degrees, then it engage a gear again. I do not know the gearbox well enough, but it tels me a spring is missing keeping the box in neutral or the fork selecting the gears is not doing its's job.
Any idea what can be, or should I accept this as a trademark on old bikes?
