I want to run good lights on my '04 200 EXC. It has a 2K-2 ignition. I also have a '98 200 EXC with a 2K-3. I'd love to save the money and simply swap ignitions and then add any necessary additional parts. My dumb question is: seeing as how the stator on my '98 is 8 yrs. old, is it worth it to try with the old part or go new?
