Aloha Everyone!

I recently bought a set of used rims with Talon Hubs for my CR250. Upon inspection I noticed that the bearings had difficulty turning. I figured no big deal for the front, just pop of the seals, clean with contact cleaner and shove grease in. They turn with ease now.

But for the rear, the sprocket side has 2 bearings. I need to remove the outer one to get to the inner. I DON'T want to use the hammer/screwdriver method. I want to remove them the proper way. I've seen/heard of a bearing puller in the Service Manual. Anyone has experience with this?

Another question, instead of going thru White Brothers for replacement bearings & seals, does anyone know of other aftermarket brands such as Pivot Works that will fit the Talon Hubs?

Thanks in advance for your time,

Tracy

motion pro makes a blind bearing puller - you can see it on their website - it will run you over a $100 however.

not sure about the replacement stuff - call your local parts dealer.
