Im going to get a new Clarke or IMS 3.0 gallon tank for my WR250 in the next few weeks. Im leaning toward the natural tank since it would be easier to spot the fuel. It would also be nice to spot my bike in a crowd of Yamahas.

Am I asking for trouble with a natural color tank? I worry about it turning yellow within a few months. What do you think...natural or blue?

I've got an IMS natural tank on my '99 WR - had it since the bike was new - no problems that I've encountered. Sure is nice to know how much gas I have at a glance.

Another vote for the clear \ natural tank. It doesnt show scratches or marks as much as a colored tank, it allows for easy fueling or gas checks, and doesnt fade like a blue one might.

Clear would be nice, except, if you ever dual sport the bike. I would worry that a see through tank would attract the attention of the police. In theory you are supposed to have a metal tank so you could get hassled.

It would be nice to be able to quickly check the level.
