I haven't tried them but I'd rather risk an occassional flat than go thru that hastle. Very hard to install and the tire feel is completely different afterwards. At least that's what I read.
A buddy of mine just put one in the front tire of his bike, he said it feels fine. But only has about a 6 month life, and needs to be taken out and oiled once in a while. But he was tired of driving 2/3 hrs to a race and get a pinch flat.
