Testing RM250 electrical

My 2000 rm250 has no spark, and I need to know how to test the components. I have a meter but I need to know wich wires to test and what the readings should be. It isn't the kill switch, or sparkplug.

The failure was just random. I rode the bike, shut it off. 5 minutes later it wouldn't start. Tried bombing, it just started, bogged down and stalled.

I do not have a shop manual for that bike either. Did you pull the left crank cover and inspect the rotor, pick up and stator? Sometimes the drain/vent can get plugged. Inspect all the terminals and connectors. I would take the coil to an auto parts store and ask them to test it. If it works, it is likely the cdi box.

Got it figured out.... it was one of the coils. New one ordered and my bike's back on the road to recovery!
