Okay, I'll try. Speaking of the pickup (and sorry about yesterday, hit some mountains & lost signal) I'm looking at Yahoo Maps & don't see any town south of Bakersfield until Santa Clarita. Does this sound like a good place? I really don't know the area well. I'm a Northern CA person.
