So, is the ride actually on? Is it both days ( the 10th. and 1th. ) or just one?
Also, where is everyone going to be. I'm only one hour away and won't be camping, so where can I hook up?

everyone who is camping will be in the whippoorwill camping area at turkey point provincial park. We can plan to meet there.

You can't ride your bike into the camping area. So, it would be best to arrange to meet at the park entrance. You can park there, plus you have access to trails on both sides of the road. If anyone is coming from Toronto etc. we can meet in the town on Simcoe and I can show you the way.

I know this idea sounds kinda gay, but there are going to be a lot of guys coming from different areas. Some camping and some not. Some coming Saturday and some Sunday.
It would be a shame to ride and not at least get to hook up with other DRN memebers.
The chances of all meeting up at once are slim.
So, at least, should we have some way of recognizing each other.
Say, something stuck on your helmet or something like that?
I'm petty comfortable with my sexuality, so I'm up for almost any idea.

For me anyway the 12x12"DRN Sticker on the rear window of my pickup should help people figure out what group I'm with! ;) Plus, I've got DRN fender stickers on my bike too. :) I'm open to any and all ideas though. Maybe we could set a know area as the "meeting point" and check back there periodically during the day?

We can meet at the campsite, Oh ya peer you'll be able to pick out the members because were are all wacky. lol :)

I didnt even mention it at work or even give it much thought....My co-worker that took the Sunday off 8/11. Well low and behold he was promoted to a management spot. so he opens that Sunday up. Now...Can I get it off.....need to fill my spot that day...but now thats his problem.....God isnt life great....Sand,Sun,and more Sand......... :aj: Are WE ready to ride?

I plan on camping. I have a conversion van with a bed in it....
so its really not camping...lol....I have a TV and a vcr in it so if someone brings bike flicks I can string it to the door openning. I need the info. on camping. where is the group camping at?

check out the damn yankee's forum in the local chapters section. You'll find where we will be camping. Also we are looking at specific site numbers and will post where we'll be. There should be enough for the group to camp in the same area I hope. If not we can all group up there around the campfire anyway.

For all the Staters....If your wanting to pick up your favorite adult fermented hops and little bubblie for the thirst .... I asked Mister Lovell where does one aquire the delightful drink of choice. When you cross the bridge you can hit the duty free store. but there are restrictions on the amount brought into Canada and the USA. Peer said to hit ...The Beer Store. On highway 3 when you hit road 58 if I recall it right. the plaza on the left has The Beer store there.

oh ya. Don't duty free it. Can only get cans of beer. Unless you want cans. :) Otherwise there is a beer store in Simcoe. Last big town before Turkey Point, if you want to call it big. Well when you are out in the middle of nowhere, 10000 people can be big.

Hey guys more info on the camping at Turkey Point.
I was a bit concerned about getting sites close together at the campground. I just got off the phone with the campground and apparently we can have up to 6 people 3 tents and 3 cars per site for 21.50 + 8.50 /vehicle. So the guys bringing a group they can get on one site and split the cost. Anyway we have to book the sites so they don't get filled. We need 100% for camping now, who is showing and I'll see about reserving a few spots ok. So who is comming for sure now.
