The New Jersey Rail Road Tracks

Does anyone know how to get to the abandoned rail road tracks in Northern NJ? Can you please give me directions from route 80 and tell me where to park.

The tracks you refer too are now closed for riding. A child was riding there over a year a go and crossed a road without stopping. He was hit by a car...I'm not sure if the kid died. The police now patrol the tracks and started writting tickets. I think a fence was put-up where we use to park and enter the tracks.

Like most RR tracks, they really weren't that interesting to ride..unless you like going straight and waving to passing quads.
