I have been riding enduros and hare scrambles for the past 4 years or so, and I'm thinking about a change. Don't get me wrong, enduros and hare scambles are the cat's pajamas but I'm starting to get burned out on them. Ever since going to Red Bud this year I have really grown to respect and enjoy motocross and have been thinking about swtiching over. Is there anybody here who has done such a switch? Was it worth it?

I'd say go for it if you are good enough and have the money...!!! What class do you ride in the off-road arena? What are your aspirations as far as racing goes, maybe to make it to Loretta Lynn's?

I race B-250 in the Enduros and the 250 class (no skill calibration) in the Hare Scrambles. I possibly would have went "A" this year but broke my collarbone in July. For right now I would just be racing during the summer (and probably not that much) due to tuition at Michigan State being over $ 12,000 a year!!!

One thing to consider is that all the off road guys that did MX say that you don't get to ride much. Ride 15 min in practice and wait. 15-20 min moto and wait. You godda be in good shape though to go hard and stay upright for those minutes. Off road guys feel like they get to ride more.

Very true. One thing that I do like about offroad is the quantity and quality of the ride.
