I use the thought of that years depreciation on the bike. I bought a bike 4 years ago, paid $3000,(used) and put about $700 into it while I had it. $3700 total. Sold it for $2500. $1200 for 3 years....about $400 a year. Then the kids bikes times 3. about the same for them, $1600 bike cost on average year. Add some gas-n-oil, maintanance stuff, broken stuff, anouther $1000. DW doesnt count as bike expense because its a family vacation. :thumb:Originally posted by Dapper
