Tires and Rims

what is the best tires and rims for my by bike that i am converting to be street legal. i have a 2004 honda crf 250r. what size rims and tires do i get? right now i have100-90/19 for the rear, and 80/100-21 on the frong. i want dot approved street tires. what i want to do is have a set of tires and rims for the street that are DOT approved and then i will change them out when i go to the track for dirt racing. i am willing to spend around $175 for both front and rear. i am not sure what size rims and tires i should get, for the street. please let me know what size street tires you ride or heard are good size for the street. i dont care what brand but no crap, something half way decent.

Do you want DOT approved mostly dirt?
Do you want Mostly street?
Do you want 17" SM wheels?
Do you have a CRF 250R (19" rear) or CRF 250X (18" rear)
Do you know where you live? Every state has slightly different rules.

What is "best" for you cheap or????
