TM400 forks on a TS250?

Can anyone tell me if the forks from a 1972 Suzuki TM 400 will fit a 1974 TS250? I am most concerned about whether the diameter of the top pipes is the same (so it fits the TS triple clamp) and whether the axle will bolt on properly. I have already determined that the forks from a 1974 TS185 do not fit....

Once you've pulled up the selected model, click on the little 'drop down box' thingy and scroll down to "front fork assembly".
They don't carry the main tubes and such, but by comparing part number for various hardware items you can determine whether the forks match for other models.
Besides, they may have the parts you need to make yours work!
