hey guys i and many from the thumpertalk forum are riding at the tomahawk trail this sat. im not sure which loops as of yet. ill try to get the full plan here soon. your all invited if you want.
Brrrrr it was cold up there. But we had an absolute riot. Soaked to the bone ridding in the rain/mud/hail/sleet/snow/wet slimy leaves. I have got to go back there again next year.
We rode 1/2 of the B loop Saturday and the C loop Sunday. We had 11 riders total on Sunday. Me, Joe (crf450), Jim (yz426), another Jim (yz426), Kurt (WR250), Don Marsh aka the flying brick (wr250), Denny and son Gavin (both KTM300's), some fella on a Xr400, A freekeshly fast fella on a KTM200sx, and Brett on a 250KTM 4stroke
What I want to know is did Trevor ever go down? I don't think anyone was close enough to him to see if he did anyway. I only seen him one time in the trails and that was that long sandy straight whoop section about 10 miles in. I was in 4th gear pegged through those 3 foot deep whoops to do that. I was shot at about halfway trying to run those guys. Boy did that hot shower feel good when I got back to the camper.
I don't think he ever goes down!
He is fast, he used to hate the woods but we are working on him. He races pro snowcross for
Ski-Doo in the winter and uses riding to keep in shape.
Don
i loved that trail woo hoo it was nice to meet you guys there and put some faces with names. despite the cold and the rain that is one of the best trails i have rode, but then again i have rode all that many hehe. i wish i could just keep trevor in site for a few miles or long enough to pick up on how he goes that fast. we cant forget how well gavin did with out a clutch or front fender. the fender we could make the trail with out but the clutch man that takes some skill, to keep the bike going. i had a blast riding thanks to joe for the warm camper for us to stay in. we gots to do that trail again. maybe somewhat drier next time hehe, next buy riding jacket for me, those tire will have to wait.
Hi I recently brought a Tomahawk G2 dirt bike125cc 4 stroke for my son, the bike backfired the second time he rode the bike and it hasnt stated ever since, the bike is under warranty but the seller will not return my phone calls. Do you have any idea of how we could get a wiring plan for the bike? We live in the Northern Territory in Australia and no-one here fixes these bikes here. I have a very upset little boy.
Nice pics from back home, keep em coming YZMAN! I can't get my sons to send pics from their motos at Gratten and BA so I'll just keep looking for these ones, lol!
Those picts are from last year. That winniliss brought this post back from the dead.
You over at the Persian Gulf right now??? Is there anything that we can get for you from over here. Maybe send some magazines or somehing. I have a pile of trail rider magazines laying around.
now this is freaky hehehe i havent been on here for most of the year, and things are finnaly looking better money wise and time wise that is, and i come back on and i see a thread i started 2 years ago up near the top as a current thread hehehe
ahh anyway. im a set of sprockets and a chain away from being able to hit the trails again wooo hooo. :yikes:
no I dont think so. I cant see what photo your refering to but its probably the same ol pos fox one ive had forever. May be time for an upgrade soon though. Its had a few too many tree strikes. :yikes:
What a dufus I was, I missed the date of the thread! I saw the pics, and since my wifey in Muskegon said it had been cold, some places got snow, etc. I just ass-umed. Great pics anyway and yeah I been here since May 1st. I just sneak into DRN before work, around 5AM, to see what's going on back home. Later, John
