Top End Rebuild Kit

Ok, as many of you know I sunk my 1998 KX250 a few weeks back. Well the parts are clean and everything is ready for the rebuild.

I need a whole new top end kit... I am right now planning on getting everything through Dennis Kirk because MXsouth doesn't have all the parts I need.

Here is the current parts list:

Piston kit: Piston, rings, piston pin, circlips.

Moose Gasket kit.

Connecting rod bearing.

I think I can get everything for around $145...

But if anyone has any better ideas please share.

Try Recreation Unlimited. With a cometic kit instead of moose I think they are about $105 or so for all of the things you mentioned. Free shipping too.

Don't forget the crush washer that goes in the exhaust before the pipe is inserted. They usually don't come in gasket sets.
