what is normal procedure for "freshening up" the top end on a plated cylinder bike? I'm fixin to do my 97 KDX200. Do I put in a new piston & rings or rings only?

I would buy the whole Weisco piston kit just to be safe. It includes everything except the gaskets. Total for piston kit and gaskets should be around $100.00
