TORO Banquet

Actually, I'm a little PO'ed 'bout the TORO banquet. :think:
The whole family went to the TSCEC banquet last year at the Texas Motor Speedway Club, a very nice event in upscale place, a full course sit down meal with Malcolm Smith and other notables and even as a guest it didn't cost me a cent. :ohmy:
I pay TORO all year to race, win my class and then have to pay $80 for the awards banquet! That just doesn't sit well with me all :|

Yea that prices were outrageous, and the food wasn't even all that great. Jeff Cox's posters (8x12) were $40 too! The raffle give-away table was rather lacking this year also. I remember the first year they had the banquet there was like 10 tables full of stuff, this year it might have been 3.
At least I ended up leaving with almost $300 in contingency money. Thanks to KTM for paying performance bonuses. The plaques are pretty sweet also.

You should give me a couple of bucks of yer contingency money for me letting you win at Muenster :)
or at least buy me a Starbucks Carmel Macchiato grande :cool:
I am seriously thinkin' about gettin' me a Katoom 450 this year, hope that doesn't scare ya too much :laugh:

Let me win at Muenster? Puhlease. I destroyed you at Muenster. You should give me some of your money for crashing so hard at Crafton. That one crash took ended up taking away my chance at first.
