hey i wanna trade my bike for my friends kawi 85 but his tranny is blown and i cant shift past 2nd gear i was wondering how do you fix it and how much it would cost?

It would have to be disassembled (split the cases) to determine what is wrong. Could be something simple like a bent shift fork or could be broken gears. If it is broken gears it could be very expensive to repair. Best to find out exactly what is wrong with it before trading IMO.
