My frineds bike doesnt run long. It runs off the battery till it runs out then sounds like it is hitting the limiter at a low throttle setting. I did some checking today. Ran bike then disconnected the battery and got same indication. So the bike isnt charging and supplying enough voltage to run bike. does this sound like the regulator is bad. She doesnt have a book for the bike so I cant check the out put of the coil and or the regulator. What do you guys think is wrong? Its a 2007 model with very low time on it, she doesnt ride it that much maybe 3-4 times a year for about an hour each time.
