My son is really in to the jumping thing now.The biggest problem is bottoming and to quick a rebound. Is their any adjustments I can do to help this or do they make stiffer springs and can the fork and shock be revalved??? The rest of the bike is perfect for him.

The shock is pretty much hopeless. Works performance makes replacement shocks and that may be the way to go. You can't revalve the forks, but you can add oil which will pretty much solve the bottoming problem.

We had some decent results with the fork by using straight 30 wt oil set at 6 inches from the top. The rider weighed about 85 lbs and was able to race it.

The shock is hopeless.

Yamaha would have one heck of a bike if the suspension was upgraded on this bike.
